Homesy is a home-financing and real-estate platform I developed at NYXT Digital. The focus was a modern, responsive and genuinely user-friendly digital experience — pairing an optimized backend with an interactive React frontend.
Home-financing journeys are often slow and confusing. The platform needed a modern, responsive interface and a backend fast enough to keep users engaged through a high-consideration decision.
I built a responsive frontend with interactive React components on top of an optimized PHP/Laravel and WordPress backend, applying caching strategies to reduce load times and improve engagement across devices.
A PHP/Laravel and WordPress backend serving content and business logic, with React powering interactive, reusable UI components. Backend logic and caching were optimized to reduce load times and bounce rates.
API / Presentation
Controllers · thin, delegate only
Application
Use cases · validation · CQRS
Domain
Entities · rules · zero dependencies
↑ dependencies point inward · infrastructure plugs in from outside
Interactive React components
Reusable, performant UI components that improved engagement and session time.
Responsive by default
A consistent, mobile-first experience across devices.
Performance-tuned backend
Optimized PHP/Laravel logic and caching to cut load times and bounce rates.
- Perceived performance is a feature — caching and lean components change how a product feels.
- Even content-heavy platforms benefit from treating the frontend as a component system.
